Bypassing the traditional distribution channels means that our customers are getting double glazing prices that are very similar to large trade buyers and in some instances even cheaper.
Take our UPVC front Door only £205+vat and there's a choice of 4 designs at that price. As a company some of our competitors take exception at our double glazing pricing policy, saying it's too cheap. We have been trading for 16 years and I think that says a lot about a firm these days. It means they know what business there in and they know how to stay in it.
Cheap window and Door prices are only part of the picture though. When the credit crunch took place we could have battened down the hatches and reduced the quality of our windows and doors to save money and in the short term it would have. But instead I took the view that we must make our UPVC window and Door products better, much better than our competitors, remember the mantra; 'Don't you just love to find an offer that exceeds Your expectations' . So we upgraded everything we could and invested money in improving our product specification. The funny thing is That our customers got a better deal for the same money and importantly that built loyalty.
My job these days is to continually ask 'how can I make our upvc window and doors better and how can I improve the experience of dealing with my company' It's a good way to be as continual improvement make our company better.
