  • Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) January 08, 2020 - The Los Angeles melting pot is made up of many creatives spanning across film, stage, screen, fine arts and the culinary scene. There’s a distinctive arts group who crave “much more fiber,” and they’re ready to leave you in beautiful stitches. “Got Yarn?” In its 9th year, the L.A. County Yarn Crawl will knit together eighteen Los Angeles County local women-owned businesses for ONE four-day fiber-filled yarn event ready to throw you for a loop of knitting, crocheting and spinning creative minds and hearts into a colorful tapestry March 26-29, 2020 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

In a world with a competitive business economy, what makes this event unique is that the shops are each unique onto themselves. With a varying range of business experience from 50 years to just under one year - these entrepreneurs respect each other as they cater to their own fiber arts communities with their brick and mortar businesses. They keep fighting the good fight against the digital sales world in order to provide the tangible “feeling” of yarn, and meeting customers face-to-face, all while “knitting together” an all-inclusive community.

The L.A. County Yarn Crawl will host a special passport prize promotion where all eighteen shops will feature a $300 gift basket prize. Crafters and yarn enthusiasts can enter to win the opportunity drawing after leaving behind a completed passport indicating the Yarn Crawl sprawl of shops have been visited. Can’t make the entire crawl? No worries… there are other prize opportunities with gift certificates: https://layarncrawl.org/pages/about-the-la-yarn-crawl
