8th Annual Warm Hearts Coat Drive underway at CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union
CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union has a strong commitment to supporting the communities it serves and the members who live there. They are seeking donations of coats for those in need during its 8th Annual Coat Drive.
- Washington, DC-MD-VA-WV (1888PressRelease) September 25, 2012 - The holiday season can be especially difficult when some are forced to go without coats. So, CommonWealth One Federal Credit Union began its 8th Annual Warm Hearts Coat Drive a little early this year to be able to collect as many coats as possible this year for distribution to local charities in Alexandria and Harrisonburg, VA.
Members are asked to bring new or gently used clean coats - all sizes and for all ages, child to adult - to the following branches: Main, City of Alexandria, Humphreys Engineer Center, Harrisonburg Regional, and Providence Hospital through October 31.
"Our annual Warm Hearts Coats Drive is an opportunity for CommonWealth One's members to express our core philosophy of 'people helping people.' It's always been a really successful coat drive, especially because everyone wants to help during the holiday season," says Ashley Baldeon, Marketing Manager.
CommonWealth One has a strong commitment to supporting the communities we serve and the members who live there. CommonWealth One not only supports local charities during the holiday giving season, but also throughout the year by donating to the Children's Miracle Network, Walk to Fight Breast Cancer, Community Partners for Children, and others.
