Awarded companies are from the Internet sector, as well as software and telecommunications sector from Central Europe (Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina). The criteria of selection is based on the percentage of revenue growth over five-year period. Enterprises are awarded in three categories: main "Technology Fast 50" and two subcategories "Rising Stars" and "Big 5".
