What to do while shut in for Covid.
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) July 28, 2020 - Artist Gary Binder's painting titled Woodland Hills, was installed at the Goetzman Group office building in Woodland Hills, CA. The painting depicts a whimsical stylized landscape of the West Valley showing the Warner center buildings.
The painting style, called stained glass, was inspired by Etty Goetzman and took a few course corrections to get to the painting it is now. The painting is 7 feet by 3 1/2 feet. It's so big that a special easel had to be built for the work. The frame measures nearly 9 feet by 5 feet.
Binder, an artist for over 50 years, has gone on to paint several other paintings in the same style, some of which are for sale. While on lock down for Covid 19, this artist has been busy in his artist studio.
Binder generally has an eclectic style. His work is varied as he experiments often and can be seen at CharringtonRoad.com Some of the paintings on the site are still for sale. Prints can be ordered of most of his work.
