The annual event is designed to recognize and duly honour patriotic and deserving Nigerians who have significantly impacted our indigenous fashion and equally enhanced our ethnic fashion values in the last one year.
Various prestigious awards will be shared among players in the fashion and beauty industry such as hair stylists, fashion designers, style analysts, fabric merchants, model & modeling agents, beauty products stores, accessory designers, fashion boutiques, shoes & handbags designers and lastly fashion and entertainment enthusiasts
WHEN: The 6th NFB Awards will hold on Saturday May 4, 2013 from 8pm -11pm

Side attractions include among others stand-up comedy, dinner/cocktail, fashion show, red carpet event, cultural display and traditional dancers.
The 2013 edition is envisaged to be an evening of high fashion & beauty, and of course jollification & encomiums.
As the nomination criteria for this award remain stringent, the award becomes difficult to obtain for all but the socially prominent figures. Simply put, only a select group of people who have positively influenced the Nigerian fashion scene will ever carry the NFB awards trophy. It instantly identifies one as mouthpiece for the fashion industry, and most importantly their names will be written in the annals of Nigerian fashion as supporters and promoters of its great ideals.
Founded in 2007, the annual NFB awards has honored over 50 deserving Nigerians and has paraded galaxy of Nigerian celebrities in fashion & beauty sector as well as in the business and entertainment industry.
