50 State Security Appoints Quality Assurance Board Of Security Industry Professionals
50 State Security Service, Inc. appoints a Quality Assurance Board to support implementation of the company's newly developed Quality Assurance Plan.
- Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) August 16, 2013 - 50 State Security Service, Inc., one of South Florida's leading security service providers, recently appointed a Quality Assurance Board to support implementation of the company's newly developed Quality Assurance Plan.
The Quality Assurance Board will provide insight and counsel from a broad range of experienced law enforcement professionals who have dedicated their careers to public safety.
The Board will be tasked with monitoring the progress of 50 State Security's Quality Assurance Plan, a program the company implemented in order to more closely observe and examine its processes, and is designed to maximize performance within the organization's varied security programs.
They will be making recommendations and helping ensure accountability of the process.

These individuals will help us asses and analyze the data, and provide recommendations."
The members of the new Board include: Ms. Karin Pederson Montejo, PH.D.; Mr. Eduardo Gonzalez; Mr. John T. Jones; and Mr. Bobby Parker. Below is additional information on each member:
Ms. Karin Pederson Montejo, PhD of Montejo Consulting, Inc. holds both command and management experience, having served as Chief of the Miami-Dade Administration and Technology Division, as well as Lieutenant of the Homicide Bureau of the Intracoastal District.
She received a Doctoral Degree in Business from Lynn University, as well as a Master of Science degree in the Public Administration Excel Program at the University of Miami. Montejo's professional affiliations include the International Association of Chiefs of Police, National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives (NAWLEE), International Association of Women Police (IAWP), and Dade County Association of Chiefs of Police (DCACP).
As an independent monitor, Mr. Eduardo Gonzalez has extensive experience leading law enforcement agencies in performance improvements by measuring their compliance with judgments and memorandums of agreement and providing technical assistance. Prior to founding Gonzalez and Associates, which provides consultations and expert witness services to interested parties, Gonzalez served as Director of the U.S. Marshals Service and worked for Police Performance Solutions, LLC. Gonzalez has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. His personal affiliations include the International Association of Chiefs of Police; Hispanic American Police Command Officers Association, where he served as a past president; and FBI National Academy Associates.
A thirty-two year veteran of the Miami-Dade Police Department, Mr. John T. Jones, Jr. is the co-founder of the Florida Martin Luther King Jr. Institute for Nonviolence, having been appointed by Florida Governor Lawton Chiles in 1993 to serve on the Institute's Advisory Board. Jones has been instrumental in assisting with the introduction of Kingian Nonviolence Training to law enforcement agencies, education, corrections and rehabilitation agencies, human services and the Department of Juvenile Justice, among others. Under his leadership, the Florida Martin Luther King, Jr. Institute has expanded nationally and internationally to North Africa, South Africa and Colombia, including law enforcement, government officials and the community. He also serves as a member of the Global Nonviolence Executive Committee. Jones attended Mississippi Valley State University and Barry University where he received a degree in Behavioral Sciences.
A retired Director of the Miami-Dade Police Department, Mr. Bobby Parker is an independent consultant for Miami-Dade County. He specializes in addressing leadership and organizational issues in Law Enforcement and Private Sector Security operations. He is also a member of the Senior Leadership Counsel for the firm Hillard and Heinze Consulting of Chicago. Parker attended the FBI National Academy in Virginia and graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Masters in Management and Business Administration. Parker is involved with The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), FBI National Executive Institute Associates, FBI National Academy Associates, National Sheriffs Association (NSA), National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE), National Black Police Association (NBPA), Florida Sheriffs Association (FSA) and Major Cities Chiefs Association.
