5 Days of Introduction to openSUSE world in Thessaloniki

(1888PressRelease) July 26, 2013 - Thessaloniki, Greece, 18-22 July, 2013, More than a hundred of talented IT specialists from all over the world gathered in the 4 halls of the museum to share their best knowledge and to get acquainted with the latest achievements of the open source coding. openSUSE and its application were the main theme for more than 50 workshops and lessons from 30 minutes to 3 hours each. The keynote speaker Henne Vogelsang led many of them along with the daily training on being more efficient and presentable speaker.

From the basics to professionals in 5 days with openSUSE assistance

These 5 days were filled with intense learning and experience sharing while the main regret was the human inability to be in several places simultaneously. 30-minutes long workshops followed by 15 minutes of Q&A gave the basics on the usage of different tools, methods and techniques of open source coding.
Several longer workshops were led by the openSUSE top managers like Henne Vogelsang and Lars Vogdt. Those we introducing participants to the innovative ways of using software like Puppet for brilliant open source software solutions. Everybody could also apply for LPI lab exam to be verified by the Linux committee as the Linux developer.

A wide variety of topics were described:
