42U Boosts Data Center Design & Engineering Team with Addition of New CTO
Newly appointed Chief Technology Officer, Scot Heath - PE to lead 42U's data center design and engineering consulting division, will present data center containment strategies in an upcoming webinar on March 10th.

Heath brings more than 30 years of data center and IT equipment engineering experience and will lead 42U's professional services and engineering division. Prior to joining the 42U team, Heath held a variety of engineering and engineering management positions all the way from the chip to the facilities level during his 27-year career at Hewlett Packard.

In addition to his new responsibilities, Heath will be leading the discussion for 42U's upcoming webinar, "Do's and Don'ts of Hot/Cold Aisle Containment," on March 10, 2011 at 11 am Mountain Standard Time. Heath will examine the fundamentals of containment operation, advantages and disadvantages of containment strategies and the determination of the best fit for particular situations.
"This webinar will help IT managers determine which containment solution is best to optimize their data center's specific airflow requirements and maximize their cooling capacity," says Heath. "Participants will gain practical insight for their data centers and we hope to dispel misconceptions around hot and cold aisle containment."
Often touted as a subject matter expert in the data center industry, Heath has served as Chair of the Green Grid Data Center Design guide chapter on computing and is an active member of ASHRAE, AFCOM and IEEE. Heath earned his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering at Colorado State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Colorado.
