3rd Annual Golf Outing to bring together community leaders to "Golf for a Purpose"
Volunteers of America Michigan is hosting its Third Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 20 to raise $30,000 for the Lansing homeless programs and services. For this event to be a success, VoA is seeking community leaders to sign up for a day of golf and help a charitable cause.
- Lansing-East Lansing, MI (1888PressRelease) May 05, 2011 - Volunteers of America Michigan will host its Third Annual Golf Outing on Monday, June 20 at Walnut Hills Country Club in East Lansing. This year's event is themed "Golf for Purpose" in hopes to raise $30,000 for the Lansing homeless programs and services.
The event will begin at 11 a.m. and is expected to draw over 100 community leaders and business owners. Early registration is recommended, as availability is limited. The cost is $125 per person or $500 per team and includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch and door prizes. The outing features games and raffles throughout the day, including a chance to win vacation timeshares, big screen television, gift certificates, and more much more. Sponsors of the event include Foster, Swift, Collins and Smith, P.C., Sam Eyde Management Company, Sparrow Hospital, The Thomas M. Cooley Law School, and King Media.
Volunteers of America Michigan was founded in 1896 to care for the community's neediest. Last year, approximately 2,200 unique homeless individuals sought Volunteers of America Michigan for food, shelter, or refuge.
