360 MEA Attends As Exhibitor At The Dublin Web Summit
Virtual Reality Expressed As Next Communication Platform.

Many companies are embracing the future and now building apps for this platform that will go far beyond immersive gaming. Many of these companies met at the recent Dublin Web Summit to showcase this future and the possibilities. Attendee Skip Rizzo, Director for Medical Virtual Reality, also an early stage developer of the #Oculus Rift, was highly interested in the 360 MEA concept as presented at the Web Summit. The platform is still fresh but holds many opportunities for the medical field such as doctors making house calls again by use of a VR helmet.
Among the companies exhibiting at the summit and making use of the VR technology was Germany's Audi AG. Audi used the latest 360 degrees video innovation in the summit to afford interested attendees a test drive VR flying lap of the Silverstone circuit in an Audi S1. Another attendee, Google, offered coffee to attendees and turned it around into $10K of Google Cloud Platform credits for eligible start up attendees for a total $20 million dollar give-away. The summit aggregated 60K Tweets over the 3 day period. There was a lot to talk about and plenty to show off.
Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, was so enamoured with the Oculus platform that Facebook announced an acquisition of Oculus VR. "Oculus's mission," stated Zuckerberg, "is to enable you to experience the impossible. Their technology opens up the possibility of completely new kinds of experiences. Imagine enjoying a court side seat at a game or studying in a classroom of students and teachers all over the world just by putting on goggles in your home."
