3 Thirty Sponsors the 2014 Exposure Event
3 Thirty, a young, online-based company, was one of several sponsors of the 2014 Exposure event. On top of their sponsorship of the women's benefit event, for every sale the company made at the Exposure, they will donate 30% of the profit to Carol's House, the events charity benefactor.
- San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) November 11, 2014 - 3 Thirty, an online-based company, was one of several sponsors of the 2014 Exposure Skate event which took place this past Saturday, on November 8 at Magadalena Ecke Family YMCA in Encinitas, California.
Exposure Skate is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit women's skateboarding benefit event dedicated to providing female skaters an avenue to succeed while at the same time raising money for survivors of domestic violence. Like the 2013 Exposure event, the 2014 event will benefit Carol's House, a San Diego shelter for survivors of domestic violence.
Being a sponsor of Exposure 2014 was a significant opportunity for 3 Thirty as it was the first of many events in the action sports industry that the company will sponsor. What makes 3 Thirty standout from traditional sponsorship is their business model to donate 30% of their proceeds to charity. "On top of our sponsorship of Exposure 2014, for every sale we made at the event, the company will donate 30% of the profit to Carol's House, the events charity benefactor," commented founder Krystal Berry, who was on-site at the event promoting the young company. "Most of the people we encounter find the concept of a company donating 30% to charity very cool while our competitors think our business model is, well, crazy to say the least. After all we are donating more than half of our profit to charity yet we are a for-profit company," stated Mrs. Berry.
The donation to Carol's House will be made at the end of November 2014 along with several other donations to various non-profits that 3 Thirty campaigns for throughout the month.
