2nd Cloud Computing World Forum Middle East and North Africa - A Huge Success
The event was a great success with a fantastic reaction to the agenda we put together.
- (1888PressRelease) March 06, 2012 - With over 400 attendees passing through its doors, all involved are celebrating the huge success of last week's Cloud Computing World Forum Middle East and North Africa.
The two day event took place on the 28th and 29th of February at the Dubai Marina in Dubai. It was the second year the event has been held and attendees came from far and wide to hear case studies from leading speakers and the latest offerings from the leading companies present.
The widely recognised forum featured another comprehensive conference agenda focussing on the latest topics in cloud, including; security, mobile, applications, communications, virtualization, big data, SaaS and more. An impressive speaker line-up included experts from Gulf Air, Moevenpick Hotels & Resorts, Rawabi Holding and Emcredit, to name a few.
Sponsors included Hitachi, BMC Software, Devo team, Citrix, Navayuga and ASG Software Solutions. ASG Software Solutions also sponsored a prize draw resulting in three lucky prize winners walking away with a brand new iPad 2.
Mark Johnstone, Show Director said, "the event was a great success with a fantastic reaction to the agenda we put together. The marketplace has clearly developed since the 2011 show and that was represented by the high proportions of IT buyers that turned out. Plans are already underway for the follow-up event due to take place in 2013."
The Cloud Computing World Forum heads to Africa on the 8th of May; bringing together the IT sector's most recognisable names and faces to The Sandton Sun Hotel, Johannesburg for a one day insight into a technology that's changing the shape of world business.
