282 Steaks and Lounge Launches a New Menu at Le Meridien Amman.
- (1888PressRelease) March 14, 2011 - In continuation of Le Méridien Amman's pledge to deliver refined excellence in its services and offerings, 282 Steaks and Lounge has launched a new menu specializing in offering the finest US Certified Angus Beef fed a strictly vegetarian diet. It also includes appetizers, soups, ribs, seafood, side dishes, desserts and Illy coffee.
The new menu focuses on Calvetti aged steaks, US CAB corn fed Angus beef, Australian CAAB British bred cattle fed on high energy grain rations, and Wagyu Kobe fed on a ration that is exclusively designed by Japanese nutritionists. Only 1 in 4 Angus cattle meets the highest standards to become the Certified Angus Beef ® brand, making it Angus beef at its best®. These specifications address marbling, flavour, tenderness, consistency and appearance - all factors that play a role in producing the finest beef. The meat is cooked to perfection at 282 degrees Fahrenheit, in a variety of sauces, all in a friendly yet stylish atmosphere.
"The authentic cuisine of 282 Steaks and Lounge is especially created to satisfy the cravings of guests who seek creativity and originality simultaneously." Executive Chef, Jamal Nashash, commented on the launch of the new menu. "The items have been carefully selected to ensure that each dish and each presentation is a work of art, a passion that we take seriously."
282 Steaks and Lounge is open daily, from 18:00 - 02:00 AM, with Ladies' night on Thursdays and Salsa night on Mondays, and free valet parking, and is planning a set menu of pure Irish tradition on March 17th, in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.
About Le Méridien
Le Méridien, the French-born hotel brand currently represented by 105 properties in 50 countries, was acquired by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT) in November 2005. Since then, Le Méridien has undergone a brand transformation, which included a consolidation of its hotels and resorts, appointing a full-time Cultural Curator (French arts-provocateur Jérôme Sans) and re-inventing numerous consumer touch points, by bringing unique, curated and interactive experiences to its guests. With nearly 70 of its hotels located in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, Le Méridien provides a strong international complement to Starwood's primarily North American holdings and consumer base. Le Méridien recently opened new hotels in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Chiang Rai in Thailand, Shimei Bay in China, and Dallas, Texas in the United States. Le Méridien will open hotels in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Panama City, Panama, and Xiamen, Chongqing Nan'an, and Qingdao in China. The company recently signed new hotel deals in Taipei, Taiwan.
