27th National Convention of Aerospace Engineers, Nov 08-09, 2013, Dehradun organised by Uttarakhand State Centre of IEI
The event was participated by 41 delegates from important leading organization across the country. Total 31 papers were presented and 10 eminent personalities of aviation domain delivered the talk.
- (1888PressRelease) November 27, 2013 - Department of Aerospace in association with Institution of Engineers (India) Uttarakhand State Centre organized 27th National convention of aerospace Engineers and national seminar on Technological and Engineering Challenges in Indian Aerospace Industries on 8th - 9th Nov 13 at UPES campus.
We extend our heartiest gratitude to Chancellor Dr. S J Chopra for giving his personal attention, advices and monitoring at every stage of planning and execution for the conduct of event. His blessings and motivation became the driving force to us for working even till extended working hours. The organizing committee expresses sincere thanks to Pro Vice Chancellor for his guidance, support and help in decision making and planning. We thank Dr. Shrihari, campus director and also co chairman of organizing committee for sparing his valuable time for giving us advices, suggestions for the refinement of schedules, budgeting the program.
The event could be organized in excellent manner and was appreciated by the participants & dignitaries; this could become possible only because of excellent direction and supervision by the Dr. Kamal Bansal, Director COES. Though the department was organizing national level event first time, we did not feel any inconvenience as the support and suggestions were available from Dr. Kamal Bansal all the way through.
The support of faculty members of the aerospace department and also from some other departments made the event a success. All of them took responsibilities very sincerely. Students, not only from the Aerospace Department but also from other departments made tremendous efforts in taking care of the responsibilities assigned to then. They had been working tirelessly throughout. The organizing committee extends sincere thanks to all those students.
The contribution of Mr. Karthik Sundarraj and Mr. Sourabh Bhat cannot be put in words. They had been working hard for the event from first day with full dedication and involvement. It so happened many times that they were in meeting with IEI officials till late night. The organizing express hearty thanks specially to them for their contribution.
We are thankful all the members of admin department for their cordial and exemplary support provided to us as and when need arise. We also extend our heartfelt thanks to IT Dept. and Finance department to constantly support us before and during the event.
