22nd Annual Ginormous Easter Egg Hunt in Downtown Clearwater
Clearwater's BEST Annual Easter Egg Hunt with over 25,000 candy-filled Easter Eggs, including the much sought after Golden Eggs. This event includes music, other attractions and entertainment that is sure to delight children of all ages. A great family event. Military families get FREE admittance to all attractions. - Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) April 14, 2014 - The Clearwater Community Volunteers invite you to join them for a very fun, very exciting afternoon at their 22nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Clearwater's beautiful Coachman Park on April 20, Easter Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm.
The Hunt happens at 12:30 sharp and is over in minutes. Organizers urge, "Be there on time because when thousands of kids race across the grass to gather up over 25,000 candy-filled eggs, the whole thing is over within a matter of minutes." The event starts with the race to find the most Easter eggs, candy, and of course, 250 of those famous Golden Eggs. Each child who finds a Golden Egg will receive a stuffed bunny.
In addition to the main event, there are pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, rides on the "Bunny Express", special entertainment, a giant inflatable slide and a bouncy house.
The Easter Bunny and his Mrs. will wander around for fantastic pictures with your kids!
This event is free and everyone is welcome, so don't forget to bring your Easter basket! There is a small fee for food and some attractions (cash only - no debit/credit cards). The hunt is for kids 16 and under only please!

The Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV), was established in 1994 with the purpose of helping to create a better community for all citizens of the city of Clearwater and Pinellas County. CCV has raised money, food and toys for family and children's charities such as The Shriner's Hospitals for Children, Inc., Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern FloridaŽ, The Children's Home, Inc., the Boys & Girls Club, Everybody's Tabernacle's Homeless Emergency Project, and the victims of Katrina. CCV also raises money to feed homeless and hungry children in Pinellas County through Public Defender Bob Dillinger's program, Nourish to Flourish. CCV gets its inspiration from the precept "Love and Help Children" one of the 21 precepts found in The Way to Happiness - A Common Sense Guide to Better Living by L. Ron Hubbard.
