The Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV), www.clearwatercommunityvolunteers.com invite you to their 21st Annual Ginormous and Free Easter Egg Hunt in Downtown Clearwater's Coachman Park on March 31, Easter Sunday from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm.
Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater, FL (1888PressRelease) March 29, 2013 - On Sunday, March 31st, The Hunt for 25,000 candy-filled and Golden Easter Eggs happens at 12:30 sharp. The Clearwater Community Volunteers urge: "Be there on time, with your Easter basket, because thousands of kids race across the grass to gather all the eggs and in a matter of minutes, it's over!"
The event starts with the race to find the most Easter Eggs filled with candy and any of the 250 famous Golden Eggs. Each child who finds a Golden Egg will receive a stuffed bunny. There are also pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, rides on the "Bunny Express", entertainment, a 20-foot, inflatable slide and a bouncy house. The Easter Bunny and his Mrs. will wander around for family photos.
Everyone is welcome to this free event but the hunt is only for children under 16. There is a small fee for food and some attractions.
The Clearwater Community Volunteers (CCV) was established in 1994 by parishioners of the Church of Scientology to help create a better community for all citizens of the city of Clearwater and Pinellas County. CCV has raised money, food and toys for family and children's charities such as The Shriner's Hospitals for Children, Inc., Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida®, The Children's Home, Inc., the Boys & Girls Club, Everybody's Tabernacle's Homeless Emer¬gency Project, the Red Cross, and the victims of Katrina. CCV also raises money to feed homeless and hungry children in Pinellas County through Public Defender Bob Dillinger's program, Nourish to Flourish. CCV gets its inspiration from the precept "Love and Help Children" one of the 21 precepts found in The Way to Happiness - A Common Sense Guide to Better Living by L. Ron Hubbard.
