2018 Chicago Air Show Yacht Party Wows Locals With Spectacular Entertainment
Unparalleled experiences captivate audiences and attendees at the 2018 Chicago Air Show Yacht Party.
- (1888PressRelease) August 23, 2018 - The 2018 Chicago Air Show Yacht Party held at The Valara VI on August 18th had locals enjoying the best views of the Air and Water show, with fun entertainment, food and drink specials. In its eighth year, the yacht party brought together various venues, food and drink brands to provide guests with unparalleled experiences.
“Air and Water Show is always a special weekend in Chicago and since we started producing events we have always thrown a charity event to benefit a local charity,” Social Scene president and co-founder William Holdeman says.
Sold Out Show
The event was a sold out show as one of the Chicago’s most iconic events of the summer. Aside from the food specials, drinks were displayed on a hosted bar with live entertainment from the best DJs. Proceeds are to benefit the local charity.
“This year we raised funds for Bear Neccessities a foundation to support children with cancer,” Holdeman adds. “We had some waves, but our attendees had a great time and the show is always an iconic Chicago summer experience, especially with our skyline and being on the water.”
The food selections included: Medium Rare Roast Beef, All White Turkey Breast, Lean Corned Beef, Imported Ham, Macaroni Salad, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Rolls, Mustard & Mayo, and Watermelon Slices. All of these enjoyed by the attendees as they watched the air show at the event that spanned four hours on a cruise.
Valara VI is the city’s premier luxury yacht line located at 1559 S Lake Shore Drive. As guests boarded the yacht, they were taken on an experience that had them making new connections and enjoying the entire spectacle. They also enjoyed a great view of Chicago’s skyline.
