2014 U.S. Venture Open in A Huge Success
The U.S. Venture Open, held annually starting in 1986, had another successful year raising funds to assist non-profit organizations in Northeast Wisconsin in the battle against poverty. Creative Business Services/CBS-Global of Green Bay was honored to participate in this event.
- Green Bay, WI (1888PressRelease) August 30, 2014 - Creative Business Services/CBS-Global of Green Bay was invited by our friends at U.S. Venture to participate in the annual U.S. Venture Open on August 13th.
John Foster, Josh Philips and Michael Schwantes of Creative Business Services/CBS-Global attended the charity event this year.
The Open included health screening, golf at Midvallee Golf Club in De Pere, lunch, cocktails, silent auction and dinner at Van Abel's Supper Club in Hollandtown with a special program featuring Hank Aaron.
The U.S. Venture Open began in 1986. 100% of funds from the event benefit the U.S. Venture Fund for Basic Needs. This year, the Open raised $2,314,165!
This life-changing fund assists non-profit organizations in Northeast Wisconsin with a proven track record of success in establishing or growing solid, critical programs that address the root causes of poverty and prevent people in episodic crisis from becoming people of chronic need.
