2012 Big Bad Ball to Increase Web Presence and Expand Social Media
Martin Brossman & Associates have been selected to manage social media for 2012 Big Bad Ball.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) June 16, 2012 - Courtney Harris and Brad Barbour, co-chairs of the 2012 Big Bad Ball, an annual black tie gala presented by The Capital City Club's Young Executives, have selected Martin Brossman & Associates to manage the social media for the Hospice of Wake County fundraiser for their second year. Carolina Web Consultants, Inc. will continue to manage and host the website. The 11th annual event will be held Saturday, September 29 from 7p.m. - 1a.m. at the Capital City Club in downtown Raleigh.
To ensure that the Big Bad Ball lives up to the 2012 theme, A Sophisticated Soiree, Where It's Good To Be Bad, Martin Brossman & Associates will increase awareness and excitement of the event through Facebook (www.facebook.com/BigBadBall), Twitter (www.twitter.com/#!/bigbadball), LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com/company/big-bad-ball) and a blog hosted on the Web site (www.bigbadball.com/blog/).
"It is a pleasure and an honor to coordinate the social media marketing for the Big Bad Ball again this year," said Martin Brossman, Principal, Martin Brossman & Associates. "The greatest gift we can offer Hospice from this event goes beyond the money we are raising--it's about expanding our community's awareness of how Hospice of Wake County gives us a place to deal with the most challenging moments in our lives. Without a structure like Hospice, people are often left with only the loss from the passing of a loved one. With Hospice, we carry on the gifts of our loved one's lives and enrich life for all."
Carolina Web Consultants, Inc., for the third consecutive year, has signed on to maintain the website for the event. The Raleigh-based web design and development firm has slightly updated the look and added a blog to the website. Visit www.bigbadball.com to view sponsorship information, silent auction items or to find out more about the 11th annual Big Bad Ball.
"We are excited to be working for the third straight year on the Big Bad Ball benefit for Hospice of Wake County.," said Whitney Hill, CEO and CMO of Carolina Web Consultants. "We will partner with Martin Brossman & Associates and Media Partners to send out the event message using internet tools such as a web site with a blog for auction items, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Last year we had great success with the social media for pulling in ticket sales. We are excited also to be working with a great team on the Big Bad Ball committee."
