LaRocque joins 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty from LaRocque Business Management Services, LLC, where he leads the company as president and specializes in green building and energy efficiency technical services to the building and design industries. Among the other services it provides, his company handles distribution of home warranties, mediation and arbitration services for the construction industry, labor relations services and government advocacy. Prior to this position, LaRocque was executive vice president for the New York State Builders Association (NYSBA), supporting 3,000 member companies that support $5 billion of residential construction in New York annually.

Prior to joining NYSBA, LaRocque was the director of governmental affairs for General Building Contractors of New York State (GBC); executive director for Associated Building Contractors of the Triple Cities (Binghamton, New York); and Legislative Director for New York Senator Ronald Stafford. He received his bachelor's degree in political science from State University College at Plattsburgh and his master's in public administration from University at Albany, Rockefeller College. He also completed a post-graduate industrial and labor relations program at Cornell University.

LaRocque's years in the home building industry have earned him several distinctions. He was elected Senior Officer, Executive Officers Council (EOC) of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB); Executive of the Year award recipient, NAHB EOC, 2009; and Winner of Award of Excellence for Government Relations, national competition - American Society of Association Executives. He also has held memberships with several energy and green building-related advisory boards.
