1st Single Ever Released By Xeno Giraffe - "Dinosaur UFOs"
After the digital release of two concept albums in less than a year, the first single from "Dinosaur UFOs: Episode One 'Wolfmen From Outer Space'" has been released for world-wide distribution. It is the title track - "Dinosaur UFOs".

The 1st ever, world wide distribution of a single from Xeno Giraffe - called "Dinosaur UFOs" from the 2012 electronic symphonic album - "Dinosaur UFOs: Episode One 'Wolfmen From Outer Space'" has been released to iTunes, AmazonMP3, and other online digital music distributors today.
This follows the release last month of a 3 CD compilation of tunes on his newest concept album "Eons Ago", which is now in the pipeline for official world-wide distribution.
"The concept album, as a musical art-form, bloomed in the late 1960's, and on through to the mid 1970's, but has lived on, as a sub-genre of rock in the contemporary era, as other types and styles of music became popular,"said Xeno Giraffe.
It has its roots further back through time to symphonic music, like 'Peter And The Wolf', and also - to the opera. Greece and Indian cultures were pioneers of the music-story. The concept of putting story to music is a part of all known human cultures," said Xeno Giraffe. "It's a blast to have a go at the art form in album format. I especially like the tricky parts."
The story of "Dinosaur UFOs: Episode One 'Wolfmen From Outer Space'" is part of a larger story arc that includes the newly released "EONS AGO" science-fiction concept album as a Prequel to Dinosaur UfOs.
The single being released - "Dinosaur UFOs" is the title track, and follows a part of the story, where the first character we meet is the alien dinosaur captain of a spacecraft, who has an infamous moment in the song, as he is called to attention by the helmsman from an overhead speaker, while he is urinating in an on-board lavatory.
The ALBUM that "Dinosaur UFOs" is from has influences along a wide spectrum in creating a musical story. Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, along with I Am Spoonbender, Circus Devils, and Butthole Surfers are some of the many influences along with jazz and classical.
"I got into music seriously, when I became an underground FM radio DJ in 1976, and got to listen to their extensive music library. It was a great 'Intro To Music Appreciation 101 - to infinity'. Before that - as a kid, I had just played around with piano and banjo. Took a couple years of lessons. And, I like science fiction, cult, and B movies, because of their unique story lines. So, putting all this music together has been a long time coming together," said Xeno Giraffe. "2012 is the Summer Of Xeno Giraffe. I will be releasing more projects over the next coming weeks."
