1350 Distilling Celebrating Five Years in Business
1350 Distilling, a craft distillery in Colorado Springs, will celebrate its five-year anniversary on November 9, 2024, with games, prizes, and drink specials. They are collecting cash and toy donations for Toys for Tots.
- Colorado Springs, CO (1888PressRelease) October 17, 2024 - Colorado Springs, Colorado – October 17, 2024 — 1350 Distilling, a Colorado Springs veteran, women, and teacher owned craft distillery will be celebrating five years of business over Veterans Day Weekend. This celebration will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024 from 2pm to 10pm at 1350 Distilling, 520 E. Pikes Peak Avenue in downtown Colorado Springs.
Plans for the celebration include typical birthday activities: games, prizes, drink specials, cake, and with some generosity, gifts. As a part of 1350 Distilling’s Angel Battalion fundraising for local nonprofits, they will be collecting cash and toy donations for Toys for Tots again this year through December 7, 2024. “Shots for Tots” is back too. Bring in a new, unwrapped toy and receive a complimentary shot of 1350 Distilling spirits as a “Thank You”.
1350 Distilling first opened their doors to the public at 520 E. Pikes Peak Avenue in Colorado Springs in November 2019, just five months before the Covid pandemic started. At the time of their Grand Opening, they offered three spirit products: Minuteman Vodka, Blue Jacket Rum, and Guardian Bourbon. The business was originally focused on creating a welcoming, living room atmosphere for special events and date nights in their Taste Lounge; they quickly had to pivot to keep the business alive. For the remainder of 2020, 1350 Distilling ramped up their portfolio to include six new products they had not planned on releasing for a few years.
“If it wasn’t for our local liquor stores at that time, who were willing to purchase and offer our otherwise unknown products, we may not have survived that first year,” said Phill Bragg, Co-Founder and President of 1350 Distilling. “We have a lot to be thankful for in order to reach this hallmark of five years of business. We want to share our joy by celebrating with our guests.”
At 1350 Distilling, each bottled spirit is dedicated to a different branch of the military or our first responder.
