1350 Distilling Celebrates Two-year Anniversary
1350 Distilling of Colorado Springs, Colorado will be celebrating their Two-Year Anniversary the week of Nov. 3 through Nov. 10 with special events for all their guests.
- Colorado Springs, CO (1888PressRelease) October 29, 2021 - 1350 Distilling of Colorado Springs, Colorado celebrates their two-year anniversary with a series of special events the week of November 3, 2021 through November 10, 2021.
In November 2019, 1350 Distilling held their Grand Opening to the public in their Taste Lounge and Production Headquarters at 520 E. Pikes Peak Avenue in EaDo Colorado Springs. At that time they had just three products: Minuteman Vodka, BlueJacket Rum, and Guardian Bourbon.
After being open for just five months the Covid-19 Pandemic changed their focus, much like everyone else in the world.
“Luckily for us the world didn’t stop drinking and our local liquor stores were willing to put an unknown product onto their shelves,” said Jake Weien, Co-Owner and Vice President. “Because of those relationships we developed during Covid, we were able to survive and finally open our Taste Lounge again.”
In 2020 they released five new products and developed a series of collaborations with other local restaurants, bars and liquor stores. Today they have nine distinct spirits on the market and their Taste Lounge is back open Wednesdays through Sundays. They serve craft cocktails using their spirits mixed with other locally sourced ingredients. Each of their products represent a different branch of military or first responders. Every Saturday they offer a distillery tour with tasters at 4:15pm. On Sunday they host Colorado’s largest build-your-own Bloody Mary bar.
To celebrate their two-year anniversary they have a week full of special events planned including: a charcuterie workshop, yoga class, a Harry Potter themed donut and cocktail pairing with Happy Hour Donuts, and a Bottomless Bloody Mary Bar.
The week will conclude with a traditional United States Marine Corps’ Birthday Cake Ceremony on the USMC’s 246th birthday, Wednesday, November 10, 2021. The birthday event holds a special place in 1350 Distilling’s owners’ hearts because their President and Head Distiller, Phill Bragg, retired as a Lieutenant Colonel of Marines after 27 years of service. The ceremony is open to the public and begins at 7pm. Local favorite food truck, Turk-N-Stuff will be serving turkey legs and other food.
More information on all of their two-year anniversary events and more can be found on their website at 1350Distilling.com and on Facebook.
