  • (1888PressRelease) March 19, 2015 - It's that time of the year again! NAB 2015 is just around the corner and that means it's time for the Editors' Lounge Pre-NAB Discussion Panel. Now in its 12th year of humorous anecdotes and off-topic-discussion, the event will be held Friday, March 27 at Key Code Media, 270 S. Flower St. Burbank, CA beginning at 6:15 pm. RSVP is required. http://www.editorslounge.com

The Pre-NAB Panel has a long tradition of taking each year's upcoming NAB Show as a starting point for wide-ranging discussion on all sorts of topics affecting post-production. One year's memorable discussion turned viral online by being the first public discussion of the then shortly-to-be-released Final Cut Pro X. Who knows what this year's panel might bring to light?

Technology journalist Debra Kaufman will once again guide the discussion as moderator. The well-rounded panel represents post-production veterans and rising stars of varied backgrounds, including: Zack Arnold (editor and founder, Fitness in Post), Terence Curren (editor/colorist and CEO of AlphaDogs Post), Mark Raudonis (SVP of Post-Production, Bunim/Murray Productions), Carsten Kurpanek (film editor), and Lucas Wilson (CEO, Revelens).

The Lounge opens at 6:15 PM, with the panel discussion beginning at 7 PM. RSVP is required to attend. http://editorslounge.com/register.html. Attendees are asked to bring their favorite beverage with a reminder to drink responsibly. Food will be provided courtesy of Key Code Media.
