The young rapper is now planning to shoot a new music video in promotion of the new single "Youngen' Wit A Swagg," which is currently available for download on Amazon, iTunes and other online music retailers.
RIPP Entertainment has announced that the music video has been scheduled for 11 year-old Memphis hip hop artist Lil Chris' new single "Youngen' Wit A Swagg" in Memphis, TN on Saturday, January 28, 2012. The music video will feature hip hop dancer turned rapper Demetrius "D3" Dodson and rapper Benjamin Flores, Jr aka "Lil P-Nut," who received national attention including on the Ellen Degeneres Show after being covered by FOX for his appearance for the Memphis Hip-Hop Expo in 2010.
One day prior to the music video shoot, Lil Chris will be appearing on Fox 13's Morning Show along with rappers P-Nut and D3 on Friday (Jan. 27) at 9:15am, in which they will be debuting the single "Youngen' Wit A Swagg."
The "Youngen' Wit A Swagg" music single was produced by 24 year-old Columbia, MS based music producer Brandon "Keyboi" Shirley for KEYBOI Productionz, who has worked with Pastor Troy, Bohagon, DJ Scream, J-Bo of Youngbloodz, Q Parker of 112 and others.
Initial shooting for the "Youngen' Wit A Swagg" music video, which will be filmed by Insight Films and directed by 'Ray Ray' and RIPP Entertainment, will take place at The Showroom located at 3966 Jackson Ave in Raleigh North Memphis, Tennessee on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 2PM.
Parents are encouraged to bring out the kids, and music fans will get the chance to appear in the music video which will give them the opportunity to be seen on BET's 106 and Park, according to RIPP Entertainment. In addition, the first 10 fans at the video shoot will receive an autographed t-shirt of rapper Lil Chris.
Rapper Lil Chris has a long work history in the music industry and has been the opening act/headliner for hip hop artists Travis Porter, Lil Boosie, Bow Wow, Trai'D, G Spot Boys, amongst others. The young rapper also appeared as a performer for a fundraiser along side Comedian Kat Williams. In June of 2011, his video for his single "Check Me Out" landed on rapper Waka Flocka's compilation.
