Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) November 30, 2010 - Classic Rock 102.9 MGK is proud to present the ultimate event for the Beatlemanic on anyone's shopping list, The Art of the Beatles, a visual history of the Fab Four featuring rare artwork created by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr as well as Beatles fine art photographs, Beatles animation and more. The show opens on Wednesday, December 8 in celebration of the life of John Lennon who was killed on that date 30 years prior. The Art of the Beatles will be showcased at the Montgomery Mall (230 Montgomery Mall, North Wales, PA) on the mall's first level next to JC Penney. The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Sundays 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) through Friday, Dec. 24. The exhibit is FREE and all works are available to purchase.

This is the largest collection of hand signed Beatles artwork ever assembled. The show will also feature Beatles related works from friends and influences of the band including the Rolling Stones, Elvis, Bob Dylan and more.

What a year it has been for Beatle fans. Beatles music debuted on ITunes; Paul McCartney played two sold out shows in Philadelphia; Ringo Starr brought his All Starr Band to Atlantic City and Easton; Capitol/EMI celebrated John Lennon's 70th birthday by remastering and re-releasing his entire solo catalog; Paul McCartney re-issued the Band on the Run CD and announced an upcoming appearance on Saturday Night Live; Ringo Starr got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame; Martin Scorcese announced that he is making a film on George Harrison and it just keeps on going!
