The Food & Drug Administration announced its intention to schedule a public meeting to obtain input to ensure the safety of pet food. To provide US pet owners a voice in the FDA’s meeting, Susan Thixton announces the organization of US Pet Owners for Pet Food Safety e-March.
According to the authors of the report, much of the growth over the past five years has been driven by increasing demand in developing markets, especially China, Thailand, Indonesia, India and Taiwan, as well as in Eastern Europe comprising Russia, Hungary and the Baltic States.
