"Rygar and the other fighters all stared at one another, anticipating the ring, ready to attack and prove their worth.
Novvus began to unsheathe his black sword made from slgorr mineral rock. The blade glowed a dark red. Its hilt was gold and fairly light considering the material.
Rygar reached behind his back, lightly grasping his arrow with one hand while his bow was in the other.
Yarrin carried an elongated staff. It was a dark brown and covered in araric symbols.
The intensity to win was burning threw their veins. They were breathing hard, waiting. The few seconds before the ringing of the bell were the longest of their lives. The arena fell on dead silence. No one in the crowd moved.
"I have to win," whispered Rygar.
The bell was struck and each member charged like a raging horse."
