"Vanessa nodded and obediently took the pills - slowly the glazed look in her eyes returned. Natasha felt sick she normally dealt with it better than this, it was easier when she didn't seem so lucid. The bottle of perfume was still in her hand, she passed it to Lily for safekeeping.

"Spray this on her every day, I don't wish for her to smell like this institution anymore." Natasha looked pointedly at the bottle, "I will bring some more next time I come," she informed Lily. Turning to Vanessa Natasha bent down to her ear. "Mummy I am going now" Natasha said, having no response as Vanessa's eyes started to close. Giving her a brief cuddle, she straightened herself and nodded to Lily as a goodbye. Her eyes filled, and she couldn't say anything if she wanted to.

Steadying herself she walked through the double doors and walked down the marble hall tears flowed as her quick footsteps echoed in the hall. She seemed as if she had tunnel vision heading to the glass entrance pushing her way through them she took a deep breath of air as she soaked up the sun."
