“Something for Everyone,” A True Statement at the Scientology Info Center in Downtown Clearwater
The Scientology Information announces that it will be highlighting a new unknown fact about L. Ron Hubbard every day for the next 3 weeks providing insight into the life of a “renaissance man.”
- (1888PressRelease) August 15, 2019 - There are thousands of human interest stories inside the life of L. Ron Hubbard - from flying gliders and planes, sailing vessels of any tonnage on any ocean, researching plants, best-selling writer in multiple genres, world-traveler over five continents, philosopher, founder of Scientology and friend to Humanity.
The Scientology Information located in Downtown Clearwater resides in the Historic Clearwater building at 500 Cleveland Street. Its 101-year-old facility is one of the oldest buildings in the area restored in 1995.
The Center provides a bright, spacious, open look at the life, legacy and feats of L. Ron Hubbard, the multitude of Churches spread across six continents that sprang from his religious principles and the Church-sponsored social betterment and humanitarian programs.
The first display, to one’s left as one enters the gallery, is dedicated to L. Ron Hubbard, the Founder of the Scientology Religion and his beginnings, but it does not stop there. It also covers things such as:
· Which successful race car driver was once Mr. Hubbard’s mechanics?
· Which struggling writer from the 60’s became a best selling author following writing advice by L. Ron Hubbard?
· What world-renowned Science-Fiction illustrator referred to L. Ron Hubbard as a “very important influence” in his life?
· How did L. Ron Hubbard “pay-forward” his success as a writer to present day up-and-coming talented artists?
“It’s almost impossible to imagine all the things that Mr. Hubbard has done in his life. He believed in living life to the fullest, learning, and helping others,” said Ms. Amber Skjelset, Manager of the Scientology Information Center. “These short video vignettes provide fascinating information and insight into many facets of his life. It’s worth visiting just for that alone.”
The Center is open daily from 10am-10pm. It provides visitors and opportunity to engage on a self-guided tour 4 informational displays, panels and educational videos.
