He met the Indian sportspersons of various disciplines including boxing, wrestling, shooting, archery, hockey, tennis, etc. and gave a motivational session conveyed his heartiest wishes to the Indian sportsperson in a form of a short speech to motivate them to perform their best. The contingent was also shown a motivational film produced by Sahara India Pariwar. The CDs of the motivational film were also given to all the Indian sportspersons in the Olympics Games Village.

Besides, Sahara had earlier announced that it will award 5 kg medal of pure gold to the Indian sportsmen winning gold medals, 3 kg medal of pure gold to silver medalists and 2 Kg medal of pure gold to the bronze medalists, each, in the London Olympics 2012. For the team sports, each player of team winning gold medal will get 1 kg gold each, players of team winning silver medal will get 600 grams of gold each and players of team winning bronze medal will get 400 grams of gold each.

Sahara India Pariwar has adopted Indian Boxing, Wrestling, Archery, Shooting, Track & Field and Tennis covering support of a total of 101 sportsmen in these 6 games who are potential medal winners, until after London Olympics 2012.
