‘Proud to Be American’ with Lee Greenwood at Mill Town Music Hall
Mill Town Music Hall is excited to host country music icon Lee Greenwood on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 7:30 pm EST. The GRAMMY-winning singer has more than his 30 albums to his credit along with seven #1 songs, including one of the most recognized songs in the country, "God Bless the USA."

Singer-songwriter Danny Dawson will be the opening act. During Greenwood’s iconic career he has charted 25 singles and seven #1 songs. Mill Town Music Hall, focusing on family-friendly music and events, is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Ave.).
Over the years, Lee Greenwood has produced many hits including “It Turns Me Inside Out”; “Ring On Her Finger, Time on Her Hands”; “Dixie Road”; “Somebody’s Gonna Love You”; “Going, Going, Gone” and “You Got A Good Love Comin’.” His crossover hits include “Touch & Go Crazy,” “IOU,” and “To Me” (a duet with Barbara Mandrell). However, Greenwood’s greatest success came with the release of the CD American Patriot, featuring the patriotic anthem, “God Bless the USA.” The album reached Platinum status (1,000,000 copies sold) in only 3 months. Greenwood is also the recipient of many industry awards including Male Vocalist of the Year for the Academy of Country Music in 1983, two Male Vocalist of the Year awards from the Country Music Association in 1983 and 1984, and a Grammy for Top Male Vocal Performance in 1985 for “I.O.U.” The song, “God Bless the USA,” has become one of the most recognized patriotic songs in America.
