"Pamper Your Sweet Heart" Campaign at Moolchand Heart Hospital
Moolchand Heart Hospital is organizing a month long campaign named as "Pamper Your Sweet Heart" to create awareness about the early detection of heart blockages before they become the reason for a heart attack. One has to act for more than 10 years against the laws of nature to get rid of heart blockages.
- (1888PressRelease) February 20, 2011 - Generally, the process of heart blockages starts during adolescence when the person is in school or in early college life. Neck artery thickness is non-invasive marker of early pre-clinical blockages in the heart arteries. It is advisable that one should undergo the measurement of neck artery wall thickness test, using a high resolution color doppler ultrasound to detect future chances of heart blockages at adolescent age. Intima media thickness (IMT) ultrasound test with or without stress test can practically detect chances of future attacks. And the other tests which can predict heart attacks are high sensitivity C Reactive Protein and abnormal lipid profile.
