About the Author:
Jill St. Anne is the pen name for Jill Zajicek Wickersham. She was an award-winning investigative journalist in college. After her undergraduate work, she received an MBA in International Business. Her most recent job in the corporate world was with Chase Manhattan (now JP Morgan Chase) where she worked in the Private Client Services department, helping the bank meet financial needs of high-net worth individuals in Silicon Valley. She lives with her husband and young daughter in South Kensington, London, the San Francisco Bay Area and British Columbia, Canada.

"He could hear Mary sobbing, but she didn't speak. "Mary! Please tell me!"
"A plane crash… in Hawaii…"
Stuart grabbed the television remote and switched on the local news. A major airline crash would be a big story on the ten o'clock news. The weatherman stood in front of a map of California and pointed to a swirl of clouds near Alaska. Fear numbed Stuart's sense. He fumbled with the remote and almost dropped the phone before he spoke quietly into it. "Mary. Breathe. Tell me what happened."
He heard her take a deep breath.
"A small plane crashed off the island of Hawaii." Her voice trembled. "Kate's purse was found in the wreckage."
"My God…" Stuart fell into his chair near the TV and the phone dropped from his hand. He picked it up and attempted to stay calm. "I'll leave for Hawaii as soon as I can get a flight. I need to be with Kate."

This is a must read!! It is a sensitive story filled with twists and turns. You will really enjoy Kate's journey to become a head chef at a 5 star restaurant on the big island of Hawaii.! You will also find out about surfing, organic gardening, and even neurosurgery!! The story is filled with love and sweet relationships, excitement, mystery and a heart-warming, surprise ending. My book club loved it!
