"RUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!" shouted Justin at the top of his voice. Shady too began running as fast as he could. Justin couldn't hold onto his lead and quickly let it go.
Justin quickly found the others and without stopping to tell them what was coming, he glanced over his shoulder and shouted. "Run quick, something's chasing us."
It didn't take much to convince them as they quickly flung their rucksacks over their shoulders and made a run for it.
"What is it?!" shouted Ridley trying to keep up with the others but also still eating his chocolate.
"I have no idea," said Justin. "But whatever it is, it's not very happy!"
"No one dared to look back as they kept on running in case it was right on their heels and ready to pounce!"

This is an amazing book, the story flows very well and had myself and my 2 boys aged 9 and 13 years gripped from the start to the finish. There is everything you want from an adventure story and it is action packed with lots of jokes along the way. The pictures are brilliant throughout the book and really do bring the story to life. We are all very much looking forward to the 2nd book to come out. 10/10

My son loves books about pirates and treasure hunting. We have a dog named Rocky as well which is like Justin's dog Shady.

Like the novel "Treasure Island", but more suitable to 8 - 12 year olds.

Great storytelling. Full of adventure and excitement.
