"Heartbeat Hospital" prescribes laughs at the Amish Door
A love vaccine goes awry and it's up to detective Perry Columbus to solve the love case. It's an interactive mystery filled with clinical chaos and medical mayhem!
- Canton-Massillon, OH (1888PressRelease) February 18, 2011 - The Amish Door Village's 2011 entertainment series continues with the performance of "Heartbeat Hospital: A Romantic Mystery" from 34west Theater Company, Feb. 24-26.
The interactive mystery begins with an emergency room filled with broken hearts and bumbling doctors, but when a love vaccine goes awry, detective Perry Columbus is on the love case. Columbus and the rest of the cast create a clinically chaotic evening filled with medical mayhem.
"Think 'General Hospital' meets 'Naked Gun,'" says playwright and actor Stephen Baldwin. "The comedy is clean and hysterical, with plenty of improvisation each night."
"Hi jinks and hilarity, romance and mystery: there's something for everybody," says artistic director and actor Jeffrey Querin.
Along with the entertainment, the Amish Door Restaurant provides a lavish home-cooked meal, including a fresh garden salad and their famous Amish Door pie.
All dinner theaters are held in the Amish Door Banquet Center in Wilmot at 1210 Winesburg Street, US 62.
