- Sarasota-Bradenton, FL (1888PressRelease) October 15, 2010 - Artist/writer Pat Kaufman will exhibit more over thirty collages from her recently published graphic novel, O Ludwig!, along with a series of black and white line sketches inspired by the novel, October 21-November 4, 2010, at the Frary Gallery, 1419 Fifth St., in Sarasota's downtown Rosemary District.

O Ludwig tells the story of a king without a castle, a child without friends, a mother without a lover, a land developer without principles, and a castle full of artists trapped in faded memories. And yet, the author assures, a happy ending is guaranteed for all! "After all, it's a fable," laughs Kaufman.
Pat Kaufman's first graphic novel, O Florida!, follows the adventures of a former New Yorker who moves to a Florida resort town during the 2008 political campaign. The text is also accompanied by a series of 27 collages created by Kaufman.
Pat is also the author of Perpetual Kin, a novel chronicling three generations of New Yorkers on their journey from New York's Lower East Side to Park Avenue. She has also written numerous plays and film scripts over the past 30 years.
