'Global Green New Deal' was the theme for Frontier Lifeline's 3 Day confluence of Cardiology Experts
Dr. K. M. Cherian's Frontier Lifeline Hospital hosted the 20th World Congress of the World Society of Cardio Thoracic Surgeons and the 6th Global Forum on Humanitarian Medicine in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery from October 20th - 23rd, 2010.

This annual conference witnesses the august presence and didactic participation of the best minds in the exacting science of cardiothoracic surgery, across the World.
This high profile event witnessed the confluence of some of the greatest minds across the world. Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad, Hon'ble Health Minister, Government of India inaugurated the event as well as launched the Medical Exhibition during the occasion. Kalaignar Dr. M. Karunanidhi, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu is the Chief Patron for the event. Mr. Al Gore, 45th Vice President of the USA and lead crusader for arresting climate change delivered the Key Thematic Oration aptly titled, "Thinking Green", reflecting the environmental theme for 2010 of achieving Green Goals; the World Congress has adopted 'Global Green New Deal' as the theme for the 20th World Congress and the 6th Global Forum this year.
The 20th World Congress offers a global stage for presentations and discussions on the latest findings and techniques in the delicate branch of cardiac surgery and cardiology. Over the next 2 days, around 1,000 delegates are to attend the conference, including 600 participants from over 40 countries.
