- (1888PressRelease) January 13, 2016 - "Creating Spiritually Inspired Projects" by Barry Taylor
About the Book:
In this book, the author looks at the management of successful spiritually influenced projects. Starting with an outline of contemporary spirituality and Glastonbury, he looks at subtle differences found in the successful running of spiritually inspired projects and the problems experienced. This is based upon experience in Glastonbury, but is applicable wherever similar influences are to be found.
This book contains useful ideas for anyone working with this type of project.
Excerpt from the Book:
"Inspired individuals are needed who accept the presence of a divine plan, who listen to the available guidance throughout the life of the project, and are willing to take the action necessary to start the activity and to inspire those willing to help.
These individuals form a core group, draw up a plan for materialising the original idea and promote the concept with such clarity that others respond and come forward to help. This vivid vision creates around it an 'Aura' of protection. In moments of crisis, as if by magic, the right people arrive with offers of help and the needed resources materialise in unexpected ways.
With clarity of purpose, go the qualities of openness, honesty and integrity. Any deviousness will at some time come to light and damage the project. This applies both to day-to-day personal relations and also business undertakings and agreements."
About the Author:
Barry Taylor spent the early years of his working life as a director of companies and charities in the City of London, including time as treasurer of the then London Marriage Guidance Council.
Since 1985, he has worked with charities in Glastonbury, including Chalice Well Trust as treasurer, and Glastonbury Trust as Co-founder and Chair.
His experience with conventional and less conventional companies and charities gives him a useful base from which to compare their differences.
