'Call for Presentations' Released by UX STRAT
UX STRAT has released a 'Call for Presentations' that describes the submission of presentation and workshop proposals for UX STRAT 2013, which will take place September 9-11, 2013 in Atlanta, GA. Presentations and workshops should be oriented toward an audience of experienced UX leaders, strategists, researchers and designers.
- (1888PressRelease) April 04, 2013 - Athens, Georgia - UX STRAT 2013, an upcoming conference for professionals in the field of strategic experience planning and design, today released a Call for Presentations. The Call for Presentations encouraged UX leaders and strategists to submit proposals of content for a presentation or workshop slot at the conference in September.
The conference will bring together leaders, researchers, strategists and designers in UX from around the globe for constructive discussions on the trends of the industry. Speakers with experience and knowledge relating to topics relevant to the emerging practice of UX Strategy are encouraged to submit proposals.
"The topics will cover user experience strategy methodologies, tools, and deliverables, case studies in UX strategy, and UX driven innovation," Paul Bryan, UX STRAT 2013 organizer, said.
Presentations will take place during the main two days of the conference, September 10-11, 2013. Each presentation will be a total of 45 minutes, with 10 to 15 minutes reserved for a question and answer session. Presentations involving case studies as well as those detailing a strategic framework that audience participants can utilize will be prioritized.
"We will be looking for practical case studies that illustrate how UX and business strategy can be combined to produce successful designs, products, programs and companies. Not your typical Venn diagram with Business, Technology, and Users, but tangible project examples that other experienced professionals can learn from," Bryan said.
Workshops will be conducted on September 9, 2013 and will be 4 hours long. These sessions are intended to give participants practical "How to" information with examples, exercises and substantial handouts included for instruction.
"Presentations and workshops will facilitate discussion among the attendees, so they can learn from one another about the emerging practice of UX strategy," Bryan said.
The conference will take place on September 9-11, 2013, in Atlanta at the Georgia Tech Global Learning Center.
"Our intention is that UX STRAT 2013 will lay a foundation for the practice of UX Strategy around the world just as companies around the world are discovering its importance."
