With the increasing complexity of IT environments, and the need for faster application delivery, test data provisioning plays an important role in any organization's IT strategy.
- (1888PressRelease) October 19, 2012 - Following the success of the New York lunch meeting held in September, Grid-Tools are inviting IT leaders to attend a lunch meeting in London on 13th November 2012 to discuss emerging trends in test data management and the growing importance of an end-to-end test data strategy.
With the increasing complexity of IT environments, and the need for faster application delivery, test data provisioning plays an important role in any organization's IT strategy. The fast advancement of Cloud services, Virtualization and Agile development, as well as tougher data compliance regulations, requires a holistic approach when it comes to test data management.
Huw Price, Managing Director of Grid-Tools, will present an overview of how to build an end-to-end Test Data Management Strategy - one that scales to meet growing business needs. He will discuss the key elements in a TDM strategy, including data subsetting, masking, generation, design, analysis and service virtualization.
Ray Scott, Director of Agile Services, will discuss the challenges of selecting, influencing and implementing a test data provisioning solution in a large distributed development organisation, utilising Agile and traditionally supported methodologies.
The presentations will be followed by lunch, giving the opportunity to informally chat and network with peers.
The event will be held at the prestigious Lansdowne Club in London, 9 Fitzmaurice Place, Mayfair, London, W1J 5JD.
