The two Yonkers performances together yielded over 400 attendees at the Yonkers Public Library with both audience packed evenings gaining the fresh, talented playwright Munesta Faulkner rave reviews and a promising new theater following.

"Being that the play is an adaptation from my book I wanted the story to ring through as truthful as when someone sits down to read it," states author and Playwright Munesta Faulkner, " That is the goal that we shot for and gained much more. The play has a powerful cast and they truly bring the story to life in ways that we never thought possible. Including in the way we decided to end the play. It is exciting and extremely different than anyone would expect the play to end."
Currently directed by Floyd Cromwell, Blood Sistas the stage play storyline is a gritty look at four childhood best friends Rochelle, Dominique, Gabrielle and Sabrina growing up in NYC. There's an alleged betrayal between them that puts them odds and forces them to take sides. As a result, their once rock solid friendship shatters like glass and gets tested. With an alleged betrayal hanging in the balance, it shows just how far one friend will go to destroy someone she supposedly loves as a Blood Sista.
