"Adventure Rabbi" Jamie Korngold Joins Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel in Exploring Connections Between Nature and Jewish Practice
Community, Congregants and Spiritual Leaders Enjoy Nature Hike on South Mountain Reservation.

The afternoon was part of Korngold's scholar-in-residence weekend at the Reform synagogue with the theme "Let the Wilderness Awaken Your Judaism."
Known for her expertise in connecting Judaism with nature, Korngold punctuated the hike with short lessons to show participants how nature can be a spiritual springboard to enhancing one's Jewish experience. The outing ended with a short worship service in the woods.
