About the Book:
When sassy, fiery lawyer, Patsy Cunningham enters court she looks her opponent straight in the eye, making it clear from the start that her single purpose is to wipe the floor with her adversary, walking away triumphant! Never showing any sign of weakness. Yet, "someone" is about to throw Patsy a curve ball, sending her crashing full-force onto a road of ecstasy, deceit, jealously, even death, leaving a confident, unwavering woman, who once revelled in a life starved of emotion, hating herself, not because she knows what she is doing is wrong, but because she likes it so much…
Excerpt from the Book:
"I lived by rules, they governed every hour of my waking day, rules keep you on the straight and narrow, focused on your goal. When I walk into a room facing my adversary I look them straight in the eye and stare them down. This gives me immediate control and leaves no room for doubt that I intended to wipe the floor with them, hence my unblemished record. Therefore, I instinctively knew something was wrong when I found myself looking everywhere except into Richard Templeton's piercing blue eyes, which seemed to exude an intensity the likes of which I had never experienced, making me uncomfortable, disorientated. Yet, I had a client in the other room expecting results and I did not intend to let her down for the sake of some misguided, inexplicable emotion that I neither wanted nor understood."
"Richard Templeton took solace in the fact that he lived a life without complications, with everything in its proper place, just as it should be, where he knew the right people, mixing within a social circle of the elite and privileged. Yet, for the first time in his straightforward existence, he wondered what it would be like to step out of that comfortable box, where every cog sat perfectly in place and turned in sync with one another. Why had this young woman made such an impression on him, why was it so difficult for him to get her out of his mind? In a way, he was glad when she refused to take his call. It probably would be best to allow the spark that had ignited between them to fizzle out, die away, because all it could lead to was a world of trouble."

Dayreader Review (Amy W):
First and foremost I want to tell you that we received this book in exchange for an honest review.
This story is suspenseful, drama filled, sexy rollercoaster ride wrapped up in one solid read. For a debut author, P.E. Campbell, created a world of descriptive characters and passionate storytelling. Ms. Campbell weaves a web of lies and deceit that keep you on your toes for the entire book.
You don't know what is the truth and what are lies and that only adds to the intrigue.
