Ultra HD to Take Flight at Aviation Convention
Videon will educate customers on upgrading their jets with Ultra HD this November at the National Business Aviation Association Convention in Las Vegas.
- State College, PA (1888PressRelease) October 01, 2015 - Pennsylvania-based technology company Videon Central has big plans for Ultra HD at the National Business Aviation Association Convention (NBAA), which takes place from Nov. 17 to 19 in Las Vegas.
Ultra HD is taking over home entertainment, and it will only become more important as Ultra HD Blu-rays are released. Videon will be educating NBAA's 26,000 attendees specifically about how Ultra HD can be just as important in planes as it is in living rooms. With improvements in brightness, color depth, and image definition, Ultra HD is noticeably better than existing technology, on any size screen.
"The market for video technology moves fast, and Ultra HD is going to be everywhere in consumer electronics by the holidays," said Todd Erdley, president and CEO of Videon. "There's no reason for planes to be behind the curve. Living rooms and business aircraft cabins should have the same technologies. With Ultra HD solutions like the ones Videon provides, you'll be able to watch a movie at home or in the air at the same quality level."
Videon's Ultra HD solution supports the new Ultra HD Blu-ray standard, which will soon be widely available. The solution also supports multi-screen streaming, best-in-class video graphics and all of the benefits of Ultra HD, including 4K resolution, high dynamic range and wide color gamut.
Visitors to Videon's booth (# N731) will see a side-by-side comparison of HD and Ultra HD video. They will also receive a detailed description of Ultra HD technology and how it fits into in-flight entertainment.
