What is really interesting about Bryce, is that he is only 12 years old and the "work" that he is hard at is a construction project. But not for himself. His project is clearly for profit. Too young to know that success is suppose to be hard and even elusive he has completed one fantastic looking building.

More than a playhouse, or even a shed, the Storybook Cottage by BoMoSo Design is an elaborate and incredibly cute building. It literally looks as if it were pulled straight from a fairy tale with it's adorable curved roof. It is truly a unique building that has a full size door to accommodate a lawn mower and yard equipment. Not typically a project for a beginner and definitely out of the realm of most 12 year olds. Bryce is understandably proud of his accomplishment.

Bryce began this journey as a simple question to his parents, "Mom, Dad what can I do to make some money?" A common question to parents of boys and girls his age. And even more so during the summer months. Bryce being fully aware of the difficulty that his older brother had trying to find a "regular" job was very open to an idea of something that might not be the norm.

No his "make some money" efforts was going to be a little beyond the classic lemonade stand. And so from the suggestion of his father to build a cottage storage shed he found his path to cash.

In just over 40 hours Bryce with the over sight of his father has built, stained, and roofed his very own Storybook Cottage. And with this accomplishment Bryce is clearly taking a lead role among his peers. And raising the bar for all the aspiring entrepreneurs regardless of age.

What started out as a small desire to get a new skateboard has grown as the reality of how much profit he stands to makes becomes more clear. He plans to purchase his own laptop for school.

When asked if he would build it all over again, he says energetically "Oh yeah! For sure!" Actually Bryce says he is planning on building 3 more. Maybe right away or next summer. "And when I sell them I will get a my own truck!" Bryce glows as he clearly is looking to the future.

Well there is no doubt that Bryce, even at the age of 12 will be buying that truck soon. He will however have to wait until he is 16 to drive it. Which, when it is pointed out to Bryce beams, "Yeah I know! I think it's cool!"

And so it is by another suggestion of his father that Bryce is doing one last thing that is very unique when it comes to his cottage. And that is to hold an "Open House". That's right. No simple ad would be the way to sell a work of art and so it is with Bryce and his hand crafted beauty.
